In 2009, Thomari launched Team Avenue Baseball alongside an all-star team of visionaries: MLB All-Star and Dodgers icon Reggie Smith, Legendary Hall of Fame coach Bob Bennett, and former Oakland Raiders star and philanthropist Dr. Robert Watts. Born from Thomari’s passion to “revive baseball in inner cities”—a cause close to his heart as a native of Richmond, California—this organization became more than a sports academy. As Director of Central Valley RBI (Reviving Baseball in Inner Cities), Thomari channeled his inner-city roots into actionable impact, building pathways for underserved youth to thrive.
